I finished wet sanding the body parts this week. I set up and painted the trunk lid, doors and rear fenders and then started wet sanding the body in preparation for buffing. I dry sanded the underside of the floor first with 1200 grit DA sandpaper. This takes about half the time it would to wet sand it with 1500 on a sanding block but it doesn't make the surface as flat. All the outside of the body and parts will be blocked using 1500 color sanding paper to achieve the flattest possible surface which will give the best possible shine.
